The question of “How long will it take me to get to my goal?” is something I am asked a lot.
Sometimes, achieving your goals feels like its taking forever.
The journey to achieve your goals is sometimes long, but remember how long it took to get to the point you are now (or before you started your journey)?
More often then not, it took multiple years to get to the point, where you were unhappy with where you were at whether performance wise, the way your body looks or feels, and where you are.
We all know Rome wasn’t built in a day..
It took many hours, weeks, months and years to build Rome.
It takes MONTHS to build a Rolls Royce.
It took 2 years and 5 days to build the Eiffel Tower.
Your body is no different.
Just like any great building, structure, Rolls Royce or your body it takes time to build to the way the architect thought of it in their head.
It takes hours, weeks, months and years to build your body the way you envision it.
One great quote I saw recently
“You have 9 months until summer 2019…. A new person is born in 9 months”
So if a new person is born in 9 months…..
What kind of new person can you create?
Keep in mind, how long it took you to get where you got to the point you wanted change.
Keep in mind, how long it takes to make anything great.
Keep in mind, the journey may feel long, but its nothing in relation to how long it took to get to this current point.
