“I want to be toned- how do I get toned?” In my career as a personal trainer/fitness coach I usually hear this EVERY SINGLE DAY
So what’s my answer
In order to have visible muscle tone you need 2 things:
1️⃣Muscle size gain
2️⃣Low enough body fat % for the muscle to show
#1 Comes from consistent strength training and #2 comes from your diet (but a proper cardio routine [think HIIT cardio NOT spending forever on the treadmill] can also help)
There’s NO shortcuts and it’s not as complicated as you might think. It’s not easy but it’s simple! Lift heavy weight consistently, and don’t eat like an asshole (or drink like one ) and that’s your to a “toned” body!
