Never Fall Off Track – Instead Learn To Course Correct

Today we’re talking about course corrections and what they are and why they’re important.

A course correction is a very simple term. It just simply means that you are going to shift where you’re directing or going. What this really refers to guys is when you’re performing an action, when you’re doing a task, when you’re working towards a goal, oftentimes you might get diverted, you might go get sidetracked, you may even get pulled off track and you may end up somewhere that you may not want to be at.

What you must do is course correct.

That course correction is what re-aligns you back to the point in which you need to go, so imagine you’re back in the very, very early days of of history where we didn’t have cars, we didn’t have transportation like we do now, and all they were doing was just sailing around and sea, they would use their north star to guide them back to where they need to go or in the direction of where they need to go.

That was their focal point, so what they would do is that as they were traveling by boat and by sea, they would look up at the stars at night and see the north star, whatever other stars they may be used to track their whereabouts, and then they would evaluate if they’re on track.

If they evaluated that they were off track, they would course correct. They would realign their boat or their navigation to align with the target or outcome or area. They are actually focusing on this subtle course correction.
