The ups and downs of a fitness journey

*Long* Honest post because I mainly post lean selfies and throwbacks to being at an uncomfortable weight PRIOR to starting my fitness journey but I wanna share that I’ve fallen off the wagon AFTER starting my fitness journey too!

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ Feb 2017, 4 months post show and the start of my 2017 season prep, I had been lifting 5+ days/week but was eating whatever I felt like whenever I wanted to. I had put on muscle but also put on a very uncomfortable amount of body fat

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ June 2017, 1 week out from my June show & just under 20 weeks into prep where my nutrition was completely dialed in, in addition to lifting 5+ days/week & strategic cardio

I have 2 reasons for sharing this:

1๏ธโƒฃ I want to inspire and motivate anyone who may have lost some hope or motivation because they fell off the wagon and are having trouble getting back on. You can do it! Don’t give up and settle for being less than your best!

2๏ธโƒฃ I want to show you just how important your nutrition is- you cannot out train a bad diet!!! You can absolutely fit in “cheats” & enjoy life a little, in MODERATION, but if you’re going balls to the walls (like I did lol) eating whatever you want & you think it’s ok because you’re training hard, unfortunately that’s not how it works. This is also why it you are interested in training with me, I will not do your training without also doing your nutrition (***I do however offer nutrition only coaching if you don’t want/need the workouts because you can certainly still achieve weight loss by only adjusting nutrition although adding workouts makes the process faster and is the only way to build muscle and “tone”***).
